Pittsboro Kiwanis Club

Who Are We?

Members of the Pittsboro Kiwanis Club:

• Are local men and women who have joined together to make our community a better place in which to live.
• Perform community service beyond the capability of government. We work collectively to serve the common good.
• Attend weekly meetings for fun, fellowship and inspiration.
• Work with local youth to provide leadership opportunities and help solve community and social problems.
• Support many worthwhile projects on the local, state and national levels.

Membership is open to all men and women of good character; the cost is reasonable: $250/year covers meals and
club operating expenses. The rewards in personal satisfaction are well worth the time spent.

The Pittsboro Kiwanis Club is fortunate to own its facility where the majority of its meetings are held. The club is able to rent the facility at modest rates to Pittsboro-area families and organizations for private and public events; contact the Club for more information.

The Pittsboro Kiwanis Club sponsors the Key Club at Northwood High School in Pittsboro; Key Club is a service
organization sponsored by Kiwanis for high school students to make that age group aware of the needs for
service in their community and help the members understand how to plan and execute service projects. To learn
